I recently went to a company to get a job at a place I recently worked at. However the all reason that they will not give me my old job back is because my ex girlfriend does not want me to work there. Is that a viable reason to refuse a person employment?
Not asking for a moral answer I am more curious if that is a genuine reason that can be given or not.
Yes, that's true. They don't hire you because you have personal issue. That is a reflection of how you carry yourself in every situation. If your not capable of managing your relationship with your exgirlfriend to interrupt in your career or profession or job seeking. Then if i am the employer why should i trust you to manage your job and become a productive part of my company. Or lets flip the card. If your exgirlfriend has the power to do that, maybe she's a supervisor or manager in that company or a relative of someone with higher rank and you think they are taking it personally by rejecting you, its not your loss right? If you think your smart and capable then forget about them, seek for other company. Please think about it.
