I am 16 and my girlfriend is 17, her family offered me to go camping with them. Their trailer is small enough so that they can see us at all times and we will not be sleeping in the same bed. My mom doesnt want me to go as she feels it would be unfair for my little sisters when they grow up. How do I convince her to let me go?

Well first, I think it is fair for you to go camping with your lover. Your little sisters shouldn't effect your relationship with your girlfriend. Explain to your mom in a mature manner that you want to go and spend time with your lover. Tell your mom that you can get to know the girls family better. Tell her that your little sisters do not make it unfair for they should have friends who will go camping with them if they asked. Tell your mom that maybe a few days after camping, you'll camp with your sisters for fun!
Well, first of all when my son was 15 years old I was very hesitant to let him go camping with his girlfriend. I had a younger daughter too but the circumstances were different because I knew that my son was with a safe family and his girlfriend was responsible and letting a girl go is a different situation. I allowed him to go because I did not see any harm in letting him go and I talked to the parents to make sure everything was going to be okay. It was a bit of convincing for him to lt me say yes but honestly I found that if I didn't let him do things and grow up then he would start to grow away from me. It's not like you were asking to go to a party or something where you could potentially get into trouble. So, I would talk to your parents and tell them how good of a kid you are and how you could be way worse... tell them that this is a situation where you will not get in trouble and it is a good experience where you can spend time with your girlfriends family. Hopefully you can convince them... it would be a shame if they didn't let you go.
