Im moving from one employer to another. My previous employer has tried to prevent me working for a competitor. I responded to the solicitors letter saying I wasn't in breach of contract. Yesterday evening an ex colleague contacted me, we discussed what was going on etc.
About 2 hours later he sent me a message saying he had accepted money from my previous employer to record the phone call on his mobile phone.
Is this allowed?
no thats not right the worker is only trying to make hisself some extra and it was illegal of a employer to do this read over your contract that you signed when you went to work for the employer your trying to leave for a better position it should say in the booklet if a employer is allowed to do this which i think was none of the employees bussiness you could take this to the department of labor and industries they can intraven for you cause thats agianst the law you can sue your present employer for this kinda behavior
