My Cadillac Seville 1978 (350 ci Olds Engine) does not start?
When I turn the ignition key, the starter turns, but the car does not start. When I disconnect and connect the batterie, I can hear something, that sounds like the fuel pump. The sparks are nice, not black and not wet and it doesn't smell of petrol. The starter is in good condition and it turns as told already, the batterie is new. The relays are replaced with new ones and the two 30 Amp fuses in the engine compartment are replaced (even if they were not damaged). Where and how shall I try to locate the problem? pls. help.

since last post, I replaced
- all injectors
- fuel rail (incl. fuel pressure regulator)
- fuel pump
- fuel filter
- air filter
- distributor cap
- distributor coil
- distributor rotor
- sparks (tried with 0.45 and 0.35 gap)
- spark wires
- starter
- battery
- wires from battery to starter
- ground wires
problem is following:
car wont start
ground is good on engine nd on frame
battery is good and fully charged
mesuring with Volt meter from battery plus to distributor pink wire (when ignition key is out) shows 13.80 Volts
when i turn key to run position, Voltage falls down do 0.1.200 Volts, when I try to start, Voltage goes up to 0.600 to 0.800 Volts
spark is orange, not blue
sparks get black (because fuel gets not burnt, because of too low spark)
has anybody an idea, what I should check next?
thx for all help

this was caused by a shortcut in the starter module, replaced the starter and it worked
