Buying a refurbished computer & the ad says "does not include install disk" what does that mean?

It means you'll have to buy an operating system yourself OR if the operating system is preinstalled, that the disk that has the operating system on it is not included in the sale. Sounds like the computers hard drive has been wiped and all you are buying is the hardware. All software incl. the operating system you'll have to buy seperately.
