My father wants me to buy a car from the US and shipping back to my homeland. I am wondering about do I have to register this car to DMV and Tax Collector. Should I do every process like I buy and drive in the US such as changing title, paying my tax of purchasing and buy at lease liability insurance. Can I buy the car from dealer without register it but ship it? The shipping company told me that I only need to offer the car and pay the shipment. My plan is buying the car from dealer, driving it to shipping company directly and they take over it, without register, pay tax and insurance(may be for the first month) I am going to stay in the US so if I do my plan, do I have any trouble of paying tax or any crime?

But since I register my car at Tax Collector and pay the tax of purchasing, they will have my information and collect my tax of property which is like $140 for my lexus. The car my parents want is a way expensive than mine. In my state,I have to register my car to the tax collector first and register to local DMV. Dealer does't cover or collect my tax. Can I skip my registration and ship it with my purchase receipt?
