Hello . I'm African American /Hawaiian and I'm going to see my boyfriend who lives in Bosnia. He's a Bosnian Caucasian . This is my first time going there he usually comes to America. He tells me all the time there are black peoples in Bosnia just very few. And the most that will happen is just people staring at me. He says that I have nothing to worry about. I know there's racism everywhere but has anyone experienced it in Bosnia ? I'm just very cautious when it comes to foreign countries and want to hear someone's opinion on it.

My question to you is where is the trust in this relationship? How well do the two of you actually know each other?!
Do you think he's trying to lure you to his country in order to have you murdered by a gang of racist Bosnians?
Why would you not trust your boyfriends viewpoint especially since he is Bosnian and lives there?
Why would you believe a total stranger's opinion on a website from someone who is highly likely to not be Bosnian or ever lived there and possibly never heard of the place?
Why didn't you look up race relations and blacks in Bosnia on Google? Which is what I'd have to do for you.
If your trust in your boyfriend is that miniscule, dont go.
