I hope someone can help. For the past two days, I have been having a lot of bloating in the lower left side of my abdomen. I get some sharp pains there also. I have been having a lot of gas and have been burping more frequently than before. Does anyone know what it could be? I was looking at the diagram of a woman's body and the pain is where the colon area is. I am 17.

What you have is a belly-ache. Only a doctor can tell what causes it, and only after an examination, and maybe not even then. You describe what could be multiple nutritional problems, and you have to learn that subject yourself because doctors have no training in nutrition.
Magnesium strengthens muscles, calms nerves, stops cramps, and fights infections. Get epsom salt. It is cheap, five bux for a year's supply. Put a dose in a glass with water to cover and stir until it dissolves. Fill the glass with lemonade and drink it. You can take it without the lemonade but you won't like the taste. Milk of magnesia is more expensive but nicer tasting and gentler laxative action. Your choice.
