I'm 13 and have been getting black stools for the past few months. I went to the doctor with my family to get a stool check up and it was negative. But I still don't know why i'm getting black stools? The stools are sometimes black some brown, I think most of the time its black spots, maybe light patches but I don't think its that. I have also been getting some stomach cramps too. Do you think indigestion can cause black stools? I'm really worried and I don't want to get any diseases like cancer. Maybe it's the way I sit? That would probably bend intestines? I really don't know and i'm really scared. Can someone please help me and try calm me down? Thanks.

Black stool can be caused by three things: cancer, bleeding in the stomach, or eating a lot of cocoa. (One piece of cake is enough.) It sounds to me like you have bleeding, and you need a doctor for that. Not advice from strangers on the internet.
You really should read some books about nutrition so you know how to take care of yourself.
Ive already been to the doctor and it said it was negative.
