Does the toast come before the birthday cake, or before or after the happy birthday song, or before or after the speeches. Is there a set order for all these elements
No set order, but most people seem to do it just before the cake comes out. So this order. Speech, toast, cake (with song). Then again you could do what you like, start a new tradition.
