Biology - Watson and Crick used the X-ray to find what?

They got the credit for discovering the structure of DNA using X-rays. Although I'm very proud of this Anglo-American venture, I'm keen that people like Friedrich Miescher, Maurice Wilkins, but most especially Rosalind Franklin aren't overlooked. Her input was inestimable and she succumbed to the same illness that her research has done so much to cure.
