To keep a Betta healthy, remember to provide him with plenty of clean, warm water. Your Betta's temperature should never drop below 74° Fahrenheit (about 23.5° Celsius), and ideally should remain between 78° and 80° F (25.5° and 26.5 C), so you will need a heater and a thermometer.
Seems like you're doing good. Sorry if that doesn't help you.
I am also a betta lover and not too long ago I was a first time owner now I have three. All you have to do is feed in 1-3 pelts once every other day or a small amount of flakes depending on size and age. make sure that when you change its water its not too cold or hot it might go into shock. Add décor and exercise ball to keep it active. If you have more questions or not sure about something make sure to email me.
