Salam alikum,
I've been in an art school for an year now where I'm supposed to make living people on paper through painting but you see I know I'm not perfect at it and I know I'll never be perfect as Allah (swt). I never want to compare my work with Allah's (swt) creation. My intention isn't bad in any way. I
t's just I love art and love painting faces I don't care if it's good looking or bad. It just feels nice. But the thing is I want to make it a profession. I don't understand the fact that if I don't have any intentions of claiming I'm superior then why is it considered haram? Time has changed since our Prophet(pbuh), Islam has evolved. No one's that crazy to worship my drawings or paintings even if I become a good artist.

Nothing I've seen so far over the internet gives me a strong feedback but I just really want to clear this once and for all. If you know the reason of why a muslim person can't make drawing and painting his/her profession then please provide a big explanation.
Please tell me the REASON so I may rectify it if I am wrong.
Jazak Allah Khair
