I am 14 years old and i love to play basketball. I would love to get a scholarship to america for basketball but I'm just not good enough. everyone is so much better than me and i just want to be good and its so frustrating. I go into a game saying I'm gonna play really hard but i just don't and i don't know why? i am 14 and i think I'm too old to become good enough to play professionally. I don't know how to become good? i told my parents i wanted a scholarship and all they say is "you have to be really good to get one" i just want to be really good!

I would work hard on being good play basketball every year as a class this way you can get better by just taking the sport do the best you can till you get old enough to move onto the better classes. You need to do good in your other classes as you move on up the ladder without good grades they won't look at you so you need to do well from here on out
aye man, i got my scholarship just before i turned 15. What i can tell you is if you doubt yourself it won't happen work on the smallest of thing and aspects of your game. All honesty your not going to be the best on the court every time you play but you can't let that bring you down. Play against players that are better than you because you don't get better vsing people you can beat. play your heart out every game and look after your body, good luck
Put your heart into it! Use your passion for basketball to achieve great things! Great things happen when you strive for what you want. If you want to practice at home, you grab any big ball ( basketball, volleyball, ext.) and just throw it in the air ( with your best form) and continue like you are shooting, you can do this standing up or laying down.
