I have student loan and medical debt and just had a car payment on a car that recently got totaled. I thought I had full coverage but didn't so I'm left with a 16 thousand dollar car payment for a car that doesn't run anymore. I could prob have enough on my budget to still make payments but am I better off filing for bankruptcy?

NO! Bankruptcy will ruin you for soooo long. Your medical debt collectors will work with you. As long as you're paying them something, $25 a month even, they will leave you alone. Student loans are based on your income, so you're okay there. Just make it through this rough period. It will nothing compared to the horrible burden a bankruptcy will cause you! You'd be surprised how much debtors will work with you if you have any other debts to pay. Good Luck!
