My hood flew up and shattered my window as I was driving 70 miles an hour.
I had my hood replaced 11 months ago and thought that the repair shop did not tightend the bolts because the hood seperated from the latch. Bolts vibrated off.
Insurance reviewer said it was not done by the repair shop because they see marks of someone trying to break into my hood. Maybe they loosend the bolts. Is that possible?
Can you get under a hood and try and open the hood by loosening the bolts that the latch is attached too. The insurance company is saying they will fix the car but I have to pay for 1000 buck deductable and my own rental car for 3 weeks. Nationwide

Good thing you were not injured when it happened. That is the thing with insurance companies. Most of them only look for their companies and not benefit their consumers. I'm thinking your insurance company should cover on the repairs and other damage. It would be wise if you contact them and discuss with them what your policy covers and why you have to pay for a thousand. Be careful with these insurance companies, don't be fooled by them. This is what I've learned from accidentattorneyhelp.com.
