I will move to Canada for college. Since I don't speak French, I want to stay in a place in Canada where mostly English in common. One of the reasons is because I want to have part-time jobs. From what I heard, jobs like McDonalds and Tim Hortons don't hire people who can't speak bilingual. Is actually that true? If so, what are my best options for where to live? Just adding some information, I'm 18.

That is so not true, all of Canada is english, even most people from Montreal speak english over French, some parts of the quebec province are french as first language. Im originally from Ontario and have met several people from accross the Country. I havent moved to any other province because Ontario is a safer one, and minimum wage is much higher then other provinces, but is a little more private and neighborly up north nad rent is way cheaper. while south is very multicultural , busy and populated and life is expensive in any big city . You can get a job at any mcdonalds or timhortons , ive never once gotten french service. Id suggest moving to Sudbury, New Liskeard, NorthBay.ON places like that. I also have friends from B-C. Everyones nice there and there are great activities to do over there. I wouldnt consider Saskatchewan or alberta, its boring and not much income is to be made there. Hope this helps!! :)
