I am on birth control and I understand that irregular periods may happen. I have had my birth control for a year now and I have a routine of spotting three times a month. Out of nowhere, I just started bleeding for two months now. It's driving me crazy. My partner and I haven't had intercourse in a while because of this situation and it's driving us both nuts. I need to find out if there are any pills to stop or hold this.

You could ask your doctor to fit a Merina coil, it releases hormones that almost all of the time cease any spotting for around 5 years (when it requires replacing), no other birth control method is required during this time. After the coil is fitted it may take a month or two to stop spotting.
A Merina coil is fitted by a doctor or nurse, it is inserted into the cervix and because of it's hormonal properties it fools the body into thinking it's already pregnant, this then prevents the release of an ovum at the start of the next menstrual cycle, this removes the cycle for the duration of its use (5 years). Ask your doctor or go to a family planning clinic.
I honestly do not know what a Merina coil is and where and how it is inserted ?
