I'm about to be 18 and I want to move out of my parents house. I'm not too sure about the whole cost and everything of trying to get an apartment. I haven't started saving anything yet. I need to know what would be the estimated amount for a down payment, first month's rent, utilities, etc for just a one bed and one bath apartment. Thanks

Depends on how nice the apartments are and what neighborhood its in.....but a average depending on what state your in, is about $500-$600 month and usually the down payment is the same as that month rent so $500-$600 down payment plus monthly rent, try finding a apartment with utilities included and wash and drying included somewhere in building...might also have luck finding someone who rents a small home, cause usually there are understanding and will help on down payment by just adding a hundred dollars to rent for 6 months...just depends though..I live in Louisiana also
