Any ideas on how to start a soccer article?

If it is for a newspaper like for school then you could start it with a sound like
"Swoosh! And the ball goes into the net!" or
"Yahoo! And the crowd goes wild!"
or if you don't want to start with a sound you could start with something like
"And the team gains another victory!"
