Any good free video editing apps?

Question

I'm trying to make something for my girlfriend for her birthday. I think a nice video is a good birthday present. She's made me things in the past, and I wanna make her something special in return. I'm trying to find a good free video editing app that I can download onto my phone or even laptop. I'm currently trying to work with Power Director, and was wondering if anyone knew of any others I could try.

You can try Joyoshare Media Cutter, which is compatible with both Windows and Mac computers, but not Phone.  If I were you, I prefer to use computers to edit my videos. A large screen can save a lot of time to deal with details.

Wondershare Filmora is a nice option for beginners. It's quite easy, and offers various templates for editing. I started with it directly without any learning curve, and it's able to   upload to YouTube and other platforms when all done.
