I went on animal crossing and i , without thinking, heard that traveling back in time was harmless so i went a year back, to my b-day, to see what it (my b-day) was like.
now i'm back in time, and i've got to get back in the present. traveling forward in time will give you lots of weeds, lose neighbors, and, possibly, a mafflesia (or whatever) and i need to know, if i travel back to the present, will i get lots of weeds? and, if so, is there any way to avoid the weeds?

It will cause many weeds to appear, as well as risking losing a neighbor. You just have to take the risk, I'm afraid. I time hope to egg day and other holidays, and so far only one of my neighbors has moved out. If you're worried about weeds, find the genie ghost thing and find his lamp. If you do, he grants you a wish and you can choose for him to remove all weeds. Hope that helped.
I have the exact solution for you, Make your town a beautiful town so you get flowers, low weeds, low chance of people leaving, AND No coakroaches to kill! and if you dont want to do that ask Lief to weed for you. and You'll have to deal with everything else on your own thats your 2 best options.
