everytime we try to connect it gives us an error code..its just a connection proble. ans we've gone through all the steps to fix it...any suggestions?

Nintendo decided to stop offering a wifi connection for wii games, so that's why it doesn't work. The only game that you can visit your friend's town is animal crossing wild world and new leaf, the ds and 3ds games. I had the same problem and looked it up. Sorry. It sucks I know.
