My mother was born in Canada in 1915. Her parents were married naturalized Canadian citizens. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1921 and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1943. She married my American-born father in 1944. I was born May 12, 1947. I have read the Canadian "Changes to citizenship acts in 2009 and 2015" and it is not clear to me if I qualify for citizenship without becoming a permanent resident first.
Am I qualified to claim Canadian Citizenship?
