I'm an apprentice. As you can imagine, I get treated like a slave worker on the payroll (£2 something an hour) I've had one sick day off and this week have fallen really ill. I've have gastroenteritis and I feel like shit to put it lightly. I hardly have any energy, I feel so weak, I'm constantly light headed and my stomach kills. They believe, even though I've been to the doctors like they asked, I'm making it up and its to do with my IBS. They think in unreliable and I'm having to much time off work. They have a self certificate that the doctor gave me to fill out, so are they in the wrong to dismiss me or called me into work? Or am I the one in the wrong?
Am I in the wrong at work?

well certain jobs have priority where medication is coming into mind if you have more sick days i would take them the company you work for should take this into conscideration people do get sick and sometimes it can't be helped because of medical issues did they write you up or anything like that?do they pay you 2.00 dollars a hour is that what you said thats not even fair as far as i see it how can you get along on that kinda wage ?you should have rights do you have a union at all labor and indusrties need to get involved
