I recently took my Samsung Tab 4 10.1 to a ubreakifix to replace the LCD and broken screen. They had told me it would cost $260, $278 plus tax. They called me yesterday and told me it was fixed and ready for pick up. I got there, and they gave me my tablet...all the sudden I turned it around and there's a crack on the back with a tiny hole...they said they had to do it in order to fix it. But my tablet is not fixed, it's still broken? They never even asked me if it was alright with me. I could tell the employee was nervous about telling me in the first place. The Samsung tab 4 10.1 is $299...I could have saved my money and bought myself a brand new tablet. Should I ask for some kind of discount or what? I feel like I'm being ripped off. Is this considered a defective part on their part?

You're not being ripped off, th employee was probably nervous because he knew you could easily have bought a new tablet for the same money.. why you decided to go ahead and get it repaired when they told you how much it would cost is beyond me. Sorry dude but it's all your fault not theirs.
..but why pay the same price as a new one to get an old one fixed.. it makes no sense. Even if it had data on it you could easily have put that data on an sd card or uploaded it. Sorry mate, but it's not their fault.
You must work at these kind of places lol like I said they could have told me BEFORE I got it repaired they could have TOLD me my options I am not a technological person so I wouldn't know crap about sd cards or uploading it, my screen plus the LED/LCD whatever screen was completely broken It's about the customer service at least they could have given me a discount for what they had done am I still wrong?
I went ahead and got it repaired because they said they could fix it...COMPLETELY...I was not notified that they would have to break it more in order to get it fixed until I got there to pick it up.
