After eating a lizard, my cat keeps throwing up on multiple occasions. Is he sick? Thank you?

He threw up 5 times(different). He pooped in my closet instead of the litter box. He has thrown up before, but not like this. My cat is going to be a year old on May 29, 2017(Memorial Day). Is a veterinarian necessary or should I wait until he stops being sick?
