I took my dog Trixie to the vet to get her yearly shots. My vet asked me if I wanted to get her lyme disease vaccinations. I was thinking it would be good idea for her when we go camping so I said yes. She needs her booster for the lyme disease vaccine in one month.
I have been reading about it online and have found out the risks of the vaccine outweighs the risks of my dog getting lime disease. Would it be okay if I didn’t get her booster and stopped getting the lyme disease vaccinations or would that increase the possible side effects? My vet didn’t inform me on all the side effects that’s why I agreed to the vaccine the first place. When i asked her the side effects she said they are very minor just like when people get the vaccines.. so i was assuming it was okay.
