I am 28. I recently found out that my fiancee has been cheating on me. We broke up. Now we are still living together but broken up. I am thinking about moving to Texas where I used to live 8 years ago in a few months. The fact is, I don't have many family members or friends where I currently live in Michigan. Plus it is freezing here and snows a lot. I love my job here, but now that I'm single with out much of a support system here I figure I couldn't make it here alone for another year.

My ex who lives in Texas has mentioned me moving back and being with him. The problem: I know he has a tendency to really want me and then freak out when things get serious. I don't want to put too much pressure on him. And I know moving there, essentially for him would be a lot of pressure. I am thinking about moving there and getting my own place at first then "dating" him casually and getting him to commit that way. Taking the pressure off a bit. I mean, I like the weather there, I could probably get a job pretty easily there and he has lots of friends and stuff we could hang out with. Is this crazy? Any suggestions? Am I too old to make a fresh start like this? What should I do?
