Get a stick or a rock and scrape the wax until it is broken.Technically, you are not touching the cage.Or you could get tiger prey and make the tiger break out of the cage to eat it.

Light a wooden torch, melt the wax in one place of the cage -- the tiger will not try to attack you for fear of the fire -- and RRUUUUNN !! ;)
