A thermometer set @ 1600°C has a spec of 1.1%K. What is the min/max allowed in °C and K. Show wk?

I don't even know what you're talking about. A degree K is the same as a degree C, and K =C + 273.15. It's that simple.
If it was all in °c the tolerance would be plus/minus 17.6°C and if it was all in K the tolerance would be 20.60. So it dont work out turning the K back into °C because it would be over -200 tolerance. What am i missing.
