A site or software that simplify authentic reading texts?

This is one of the hardest things to do programmatically because the program has to understand context and meaning. Computers are generally pretty bad at this. The only advice I can give you is to use Google Translate to translate the text to a different language then translate it back to yours. Difficult synonyms could be replaced with the simpler versions.
