Hi! I'm writing a young adult fantasy/drama novel and I had some questions, I'm just gonna list them and feel free to answer whichever ones you know, and some tips would be helpful since this is my first novel, thanks
(I'm writing in Third person Omniscient, past tense)
1: In hotter scenes, how far is too far?
2: How many words would you say is good for one chapter?
3: And how many chapters for one book?
4: How long do you think it would take to write a good book?
5: Any ideas on how to NOT procrastinate?
6: With time leaping, how long is too long? Can you leap 6 months in one book?
7: How many paragraphs should you write until switching to someone elses scene?
8: Any websites you could link me to which may have good writing tips?
Thank you!!! I was intending on over 150,000 words in one book but now that you mention 75,000 I think I'll split into two if it works out, and FYI I've been writing for about a month (Excluding character information and outlining and what-not) and have around 10k words.
