A Dog somehow went in my property and attacked my chicken pretty badly, is the dog owner liable?

Yea i think if the got onto your property and attacked you chicken its the owners responsibility of the dog's owner to be responsible for controlling their animal if this didn't happen then it is probably a good idea you should report to the human society or animal control very important you might even have to take the owner to civil court if they don't pay.
