So I'm going hiking/camping for the first time and I have no idea what type of shoes to buy.. hiking boots or regular shoes. The place I'm going is called lost maples state park in Texas, it doesn't seem like I would need hiking boots & since this is my first time I don't want up to spend 200$ on boots I may never wear again. Any suggestions?
