I have been bleaching my hair blonde for a number of years and over the last few months have noticed that my hair has become broken. I don't want this to keep happening so I think I'm going to stop bleaching my hair blonde. I don't like my natural hair colour so I'm thinking of dying my hair a light brown. I know that no hair dye is particularly healthy but would brown hair be slightly healthier than blonde?

Often simple things as taking it for a walk, or just bathing in a vegemite and milk concoction will do it wonders. Also, using high quality, all purpose solvent will ensure that your hair does not break (prevention, not cure! :P). Please post a photo for further reference, hope this helped!
You don't have to darken your hair if you love being blonde, being blonde comes with maintenance right down to the products. Products you are using are very important. our suggestion for you is to find a salon near you that carries the brand - Kevin Murphy. They use skin care techonology in thier products and they are rich in antioxidants and botanicals to help strengthen and nurture your hair.
If you have bleach blonde hair that has become damaged and broken, there are several steps you can take to restore its health and strength:
Deep Conditioning Treatments: Use deep conditioning treatments specifically designed for damaged hair. Look for products with ingredients like keratin, argan oil, or coconut oil, which help nourish and repair hair strands.
Trimming: Regular trims are essential to remove split ends and prevent further breakage. Schedule a trim every 6-8 weeks to maintain healthy hair growth.
Reduce Heat Styling: Limit the use of heat styling tools such as flat irons and curling wands. When you do use them, apply a heat protectant spray to minimize damage.
Gentle Shampooing: Use a sulfate-free shampoo formulated for damaged hair to cleanse without stripping natural oils. Avoid washing hair too frequently, as this can dry out your hair further.
Protective Hairstyles: Opt for hairstyles that minimize stress on your hair, such as loose braids or buns. Avoid tight hairstyles that pull on the hair shaft and cause breakage.
Nutrition and Hydration: Ensure your body is getting adequate nutrition and hydration, as this directly impacts hair health. Eat a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins, and drink plenty of water.
Avoiding Harsh Chemicals: Be cautious with hair dyes and chemical treatments. If you need to touch up your roots or change your hair color, consider using gentler options or seek professional advice.
By implementing these practices consistently, you can help repair damage, strengthen your hair, and promote healthier growth over time. Patience and care are key to restoring your bleach blonde hair to its former vibrancy and resilience.
