Fortunately, interior designer is one of those careers where you don't need qualifications or a certificate. It couldn't hurt, though. You can start your own business, advertise, start with friends or relatives for free, don't charge much for your early clients, and use them for your portfolio. I'd recommend getting an attorney to help with your contract (if you can't find one you can use on the 'Net or in a book), and make sure they grant you the right to use before and after photos (or just after photos) in your portfolio. You should also get a pro to put together a professional looking website. Pretend to be how you want to be seen.
I don't think so there is specific degree for Interior designers. you need to be creative, imaginative, artistic and also need to be disciplined, organized and skilled business people. Designers must know how to plan a space and how to render that plan visually, so that it can be conveyed to the client.
You can also assist a Interior designer for better experience and skills. Nitido Design is best interior designers in Mumbai, you can also join them.

An interior designer typically requires a bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field. CAD software, design principles, and building codes are essential. A combination of creative skills and certifications such as NCIDQ enhances credibility and career prospects in the competitive interior design field.
