She was fired yesterday without notice yesterday, and hasn't commited any work center violations of anykind. She was told there was negative gossip in the workplace that lead to her termination. Is this a case of wrongful termination? Thanks!

It does not look like she had done any violation of the company's rules as you described. Just because of negative gossip in the workplace employer can't fire her it's not a legal or solid reason to fire someone. In my opinion, she must need to visit a professional employment lawyer like Cummings & Franck, P.C. to get all the legal processes to file a case against your company.
