Facebook no longer uses security questions as a primary method for account recovery. Instead, they rely on modern recovery methods like email, phone numbers, and two-factor authentication. However, if you want to secure your account or recover it, here’s what you can do:
To reset your Facebook security or update your recovery options:
Go to Facebook Settings:
Log in to your Facebook account.
Click the downward arrow at the top-right corner of the page and select Settings & Privacy > Settings.
Update Contact Information:
In the General section, make sure your email and phone number are up to date for future account recovery.
Set Up Two-Factor Authentication:
Go to Security and Login under Settings.
Set up Two-Factor Authentication to add an extra layer of security.
Use Trusted Contacts:
In the Security and Login section, you can set Trusted Contacts, who can help you recover your account if you get locked out.
If you're having trouble accessing your account, use the "Forgot Password" option on the login page, and Facebook will guide you through account recovery using email or phone verification.
