Why do you not believe in God ? How can you even dream of getting away with that kind of behaviour ? What are you going to do when your time is up ? Please think sensibly about finding Jesus now, before it's too late !

It is not that religion is always right......nor it gives the reason to everything happening around us. It is science which provide us reasons for common affairs which is very important to know because if u dont know about ur surroundings den u r useless. Also i m nt saying dont believe in god as it is the only thing which gives us motivation whenever we r in prblms. Religion and science both r not comparable.
Believing in something just because you cannot understand or grasp the concept of life, is what is insane to me. "What are you going to do when your time is up?" Well, for one like you said "your time is up." I CAN'T DO ANYTHING, just like everyone else. "Dream?" I think that work is more appropriate for people like you, because y'all are the ones sleep. I have already waken up, and I refuse to be brainwashed. I am only sixteen years old, and the bible itself made me an Atheist. Science is based on logic and facts. Religion is based on no logic, but the god and the gaps.
I don't think that without being scientific one can understand true essence of religion and without being spiritualistic one can understand core science. Its not just the matter of being devoted to God or knowing shallow science which can make one strong in any one of them. They both go hand in hand . But this is where our world is still behind. We think both of them to be just the opposite! Truth is union of both of them. So yes those who claim that existence of God is somewhat like a myth are non- scientific but at the same time who say that God is ahead of science should think once again.
I am thinking that you must be an internet troll to ask this question but, I will give you my answer anyway.
Quite simply, there is no god. None. There never was nor, will there be. No ancient text like the Bible or, any other document provides any proof whatsoever. When extraordinary claims are made, extraordinary proof is required by those making the claim.
I could go on and on and on about the impossibilities of scripture but, it would take far longer than I have time for.
By the way, I used to be a Christian. I attended Church regularly. I belonged to Campus Crusade for Christ. Nobody every abused me. They were all good people. But, it was a great decision to give up on Religion. My recommendation is that all people should abandon religion.
I think that the reason why people actually believe in any religion is their deep fear of actually not being as important as we think.
We are like any other thing in our known universe.
Take a fruit on a tree for an example, it's created through pollination, starts to grow, reaches it peak in life, all while trying to fight disease and insects, and then it starts to become weaker, rots and then falls off it's branch, where it decomposes in the ground, some are taken off the tree at earlier times, purposely or by accident, and cease to be deemed that same fruit again in some way or another.
What is ridiculous is the thought that when that organism is rotting in the ground, it has separated being that organism and is now suffering eternally because it soaked up more energy than others or thought about something that went against another concept made up by an organism just the same as them. because that very brain that thought that very thought is gone, it's worm food.
I think that's what scares most people, and it's also why we believe in a higher calling, to separate us from the fact that we wont matter a hundred and fifty years from now.
People still "bother with" science because it provides us with facts. Religions were created before science was and religion was how people understood the world. Like in Greek mythology, Apollo, he sun god, pulled his chariot (the sun) across the sky which is what made the sun rise and set, but now we know that the earth's rotation is what causes the sun to rise and set. Also, there are no reliable sources in the bible, which was actually wrote by multiple people who probably streached the truth quite a bit.
If you ask me the term religion is bullcrap. So you have this one word that describes all of this stuff. Yet even the term denomination is so vast it becomes unrelevant. Look at Christianity. You have Catholic, Lutheran, Protestant, Episcopalian, Baptist, Methodist. All of these terms. You have each of these groups ridiculing the other for their beliefs. Yet even people of the same denomination may not have the same ideas and do that in their own field of religious ideas. So saying there Catholics making fun of the other group, but at the same time probably just as much getting ridiculed inside the same walls by the same person. That is my problem with the word religion. If you believe in God and Jesus and accept that and go to fully live your life on that level you are not really having a religion. Christianity is not a religion. It is a relationship. I wish I found that out sooner. I have spent most of my life exploring all of these things that turned out to be bullcrap and had very miserable existence until 4 years ago when I found Christ. After that my eyes were open and life has been so much better for me. You can believe what you want. Religion is a personal thing and I am not writing this to condemn or demonize someone for their beliefs. I was not put on this Earth for that reason. Only to live my life as what I believe the heavenly Creator would want me to and possibly even use me as a way to make someone else's life better. We are all Gods children and we are all brothers in Christ even if they don't believe it. God bless you and I hope this answers your questions. Hope I helped.
You speak of science as if it were a tangible, conscious entity or a invented "thing" designed to refute the existence of god or to stand opposed to believers. Science is a process- a tool we use to discover the truth. It is rooted in evidence and experimentation. It does not rely on magical explanations for phenomena we don't understand, but on investigation- based on what we know and have learned. Science continues to evolve and gets better and man benefits in incredible ways because of this. Can we say that religion does the same? If you say yes then I'd ask when was your bible written, and by whom? In the end, science exists whether you want it to or not and It does not care what you believe.

I am an atheist as well. I believe as you do in that religion has no basis in fact. The Bible is a story book not a factual book. I do not understand those who for example believe in creationism over evolution.
While you do not believe any God you should always defend the rights of others to believe in whatever they so choose. That is the point of belief. It is a personal point of view, an opinion and as such is neither correct nor incorrect.
People who follow a religion have every right to do so - the same rights extend to you to do exactly the opposite. Just as you have the right to be treated with respect for not
believing in God, you have a duty to respect others that do. This is called tolerance. There are a lot of really good people out there, decent, kind and intelligent people and a lot of them are religious and a lot of them are not. See things for what they are. You don't have to believe in God to know that religious groups help a lot people. Of course there are the banner waving fanatics, always have been, always will be. Nobody takes too much notice of them for the most part.
Be tolerant of others. You don't have to understand or agree with them. You are 16 and one day you may meet somebody who you wish to spend your life with and he or she may be religious. Learn to accept others. Live and let live else you could miss out on meeting some really great people.
