I'm moving thousands of miles away from my crush. I have liked him for 5 years now and he knew I liked him a long time ago because he told me but I just denied it like an idiot. But, he doesn't know I still like him. I'm wondering if I should tell him before I leave. My friend knows him and I'm thinking about asking my friend to tell my crush for me. Should I or no? Thanks ( :

i wouldn't. it would make the move more difficult. unless you can find a way to stay in touch. like web cams or texting. but it still wouldn't be the same. or unless you're not planning this to be a permanent move then i'd just wait to tell him after moving back. if it is permanent i wouldn't tell him. just to spare the depression.
Listen to Mia. Speaking from experience, i told my seinior crush how much i cared about right before graduating high school and she really liked it. It will acually lighten your depression and you wont regret it. Make sure you tell him yourself or it wont bring you any closure at all.
I think you should tell him. Boys don't always like to hear information second hand.
If your moving a long way away from him and you tell him you like him, you wont have to deal with the remarks and face him every day (if he doesn't like you).
Go for it, take a chanse and if he does like you back... ask for his email, facebook, phone number. Good luck
If you're never going too see him again (this happend to be I moved to Turkey) I told my Crush on a Girl when I was 14 (About to move to Turkey) how I felt, I have never seen her since, I'm now 35. I still miss her. (I'm single so you know lol). You might just not know, you may see her in 20 years time....

I think asking your friends to do it is the worst way to tell him. Guys never like it and it will be more like for him to say he's not interested in you because he might not want your friends to know before you do.
I wouldn't tell him because its useless- you guys won't be seeing each other again and you won't be together unless its a long distance relationship (which, btw, don't work- i've tried). However, it brings you closure to tell him.
I know this beause i was in the same position last year with a summer crush. I ended up telling him and he it turned out he liked me too, though things just went downhill from there: we fought the next summer and now we don't speak to each other. If you feel it will bring you closure you should definitely do it, and then move on to some other guy.
it can hurt a lot think about it it will make it harder just dont tell them and try 2 forget unless its not permanent
