2007 wrx manual has a ticking going on. The ticking will be in 2nd and it speeds up when I accelerat

does ticking noise come from under bonnet ? open it pull throttle with fingers maybe valve making noise . or just rev while car is still and listen for any ticking noises . what type of transmission you got auto or manual ?
