I don’t see the point in getting a high school equivalent because the world doesn’t view GEDs,HISETs and TASCs as educational equivalents. What was once viewed as an important educational certificate (GED) in the 40s for veterans that were drafted before completing their schooling in the Second World War, is viewed today as an excuse to belittle and berate homeschoolers or high school graduates that lost their diplomas and homework assignments due to natural causes such as earthquakes, floods and structure fires and had to take one of these tests in order to build a future for themselves. The same applies to the HiSet and TASC passers. Society today is so desensitized and treats these people like scum and that’s very demeaning. So what’s the point of getting these diploma alternatives when they’re practically viewed as a disgrace or worthless in society ?
What’s the point of getting a high school equivalent when society just gives you grief for it ?
