1.You are a new sales agent at a very quickly-developing international company. Everyone on the market knows the brand, many people apply here but only selected people pass through all the recruitment stages and join.
Your daily duties in the new position will include communication with potential corporate and individual clients. A big part of the income comes from commissions. You are expected to speak with clients, understand their needs and find the product that will meet all their requirements. The clients may contact you via any communication channel: email, social media, messengers, or phone.
You have passed the hiring process, which included a very detailed training that took several weeks.
Today is your first day at work. You walk into the department's office and sit at your work desk. Your colleagues and supervisor came in earlier and are still at the team meeting.
Suddenly, the phone at your colleague's workstation rings.
What would you do?*
Pick up the phone and inform the client that their agent is currently busy, but you can help. You just completed the training and are eager to use knowledge gained in practice.
Run to the meeting room to let them know that someone is calling your colleagues. Even though they are in a meeting, they need to finish right away regardless of the topic being discussed.
Look at the number of the person calling and write it down to pass it to the colleague when they are back.
Leave the phone ringing as you usually become very uncomfortable when people ask you random questions that you don’t know the answers to. So, better be safe than sorry.
