This job/warehouse gave me freedom to do more things I enjoyed but the hours at any moment could vanish from 45-47 hours to 25 if cut dramatically. So I switched warehouses and about a year ago got full time. It’ll eventually be better pay and pension for retirement, but longer hours and a further commute. I’ve slashed the amount of time I have for things I like to do, and valuable time with my parents who are 70+ years old. I feel very guilty about this and constantly worry I made the wrong decision.
Ultimately, did I make the wrong decision? Financially it’ll be good for my life long term….but feel like I’m missing out on the short term.
Is there any way to come to peace with the decision as I think I cannot change it. I’m naturally a second guesser and I’m just scared to miss out and never get back what I’ll lose…
Job move decision. Struggling with a choice?
