I’m a 15 (going on 16) year old girl that’s 5’3 and weighs around 150lbs. I’ve been told that I’m over weight, and feel really self-conscious with my weight/body so I’d like to lose 25-30 lbs. I’m currently home-schooled and don’t have a lot of friends to go out with. The only time I get to exercise is when I walk my dog around the block or walk around a store. I like to drink lots of Green tea and Water (usually 4-6 glasses a day) and I try to eat healthy. But it’s hard growing up in a chunky family who likes to eat a lot of junk food. I have a major sweet tooth and eat anything that’s sweet. I have bad habits of bored eating, and snacking at night. What are some ways to help lose weight? Ways to stop these bad habits?

What I do is I go for long walks at almost every chance I get. If you have any spare time over the weekends, go for long walks. Or go jogging. Both help. Bring some water with you and enjoy the fresh air. As for eating healthily, just try to resist. I know it's hard. But you can either ask your family to buy more healthy foods so you don't have the temptation or you can buy healthy foods yourself, therefore you won't have to worry about the junk food. You can have one day a week where you can cheat and eat junk food and the rest of the week you can eat healthily.
