...  I went to the toilet to change my pad, I got in detention because I took my bag in, Is that unfair?

i think t is unfair because ladies like us need to change pad if we have period.

Not fair at all, see if you can talk with the school nurse to see if you can rectify this problem, sounds like a health issue to me.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I ended up moving schools again because they didn't seem to understand girls bodies and stuff. I am at an all girls school now, and they are really supportive of me!
