For the past week or so, my abdomen has been bloated. I exercise daily and eat lots of vegetables. I was not constipated initially but did have about 3 days of constipation and also serious abdominal pain and nausea. The bloating is down a little today and i've still had gas and bowel movements, and the constipation is better today. I am still bloated and a little nauseous. I am not pregnant. Could I have a bowel obstruction? Do I need to go to the ER?

Most total bowel obstructions, one would experience debilitating pain and severe vomiting. A partial bowel obstruction would have some of your signs and symptoms BUT SO WOULD OTHER ISSUES such as small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), candida overgrowth, IBS or others I haven't listed. Make an appointment with a GI doctor and talk to them about your issues. SIBO and candida can be cured with medication/herbs and bowel obstructions, if caused by adhesions, can be cleared by an all natural hands on therapy but if not caused by adhesions will need to have further medical treatment.
