I plan to repaint my house and we like the finish of the Aura paint, but we don't like it's price. Do you think I could use Ultra Spec 500 eggshell for the fist coat and use the Aura eggshell finish for the last coat?

Yes, it's okay to use Benjamin Moore's Ultra Spec 500 as the first coat and Aura as the second coat. Ultra Spec 500 is a great budget-friendly option for the first coat, providing good coverage, while Aura offers a higher-end finish with excellent durability, color richness, and washability. This approach can help save money while still achieving a high-quality final look. Just ensure both paints are compatible and you allow proper drying time between coats for the best results.
