Hello I was wondering if anyone would happen to know where I could purchase some decent size pieces of manchineel wood. And also if you could tell me what the wood itself is like. Is the wood very dense or is it soft? What's the color of the wood? And what's the grain like? I'm aware that they are the most deadly trees in the world but I wanted to have the wood to craft something if need be. Feel free to include any information you feel is helpful.

I don’t know what you could possibly make with it because the wood will remain seventy toxic till it rots away. The sap is extremely sticky and can not be removed from your skin by anything that I tried. It is clear and slowly turns black after about 8 hours on your skin. Overnight around where the sap is your skin turns red and inflamed. The sap area sinks inward as it melts your skin and I tried everything I could find on the internet to remove sap with zero positive results. I even tried bug and sap remover for cars and it did nothing. The sap has to be pick off a tiny bit at a Tim and it removes your skin with it. If you happen to drop what you pick off and it lands on you somewhere else that spot gets melted as well with the slightest amount of sap. This was what happened to me the second time I cut back the tree unknowingly doing it to the tree of death. It has that name for a reason and being dumb enough to want to use it for wood working makes me wonder your ultimate goal. It would seem that you would have to have something not so pleasant in mind and maybe you need to be visited by your local sheriff department and revisit those missing animal reports in your area. That being said I will continue.
The sawdust blinds you completely for 3 days and then you get you vision back with no issues in my experience. This time I cut the tree with a chainsaw trimming off a 4 inch limb at chest height with safety glasses on. The second time when I got the sap on me and figured out what it was I used a cordless limb saw so I didn’t go blind. I got the sap on me carrying the limbs to burn them. It is a good thing that the wind was not blowing because there would have been a bunch of bodies laying around in the subdivision as the smoke will kill you. It gets into your lungs and there is nothing you can do to help other than put a slug in your head. You can’t even stand under the tree when it rains or anytime shortly after the rain because the water drops have a tiny amount of sap in them and every drop burns your skin multiple layers deep. This all being said I hope someone has a way to track you down and look into you and your mental health. Other then that have a great day!
